Movie Review - Despicable Me

Hey guys, since it's Easter Holidays, I've been really busy this week going to meet friends and family. Yesterday, I went to my cousin's house and we all sat and watched Despicable Me! It's such an amazing movie and I wanted to review it for you guys!

So this is a great movie to watch with family. It's funny, creative and suitable for all ages! The movie is about a man who is a criminal mastermind, adopting three girls to be part of his evil scheme.
He has millions of cute, yellow minions who work in a lair for him. As the days pass, he grows to love and care for them which change him as a person for the better.
I would definitely recommend this movie to all you Chobots out there!

Saturday Fun and News!

Hey guys, sorry for the long posting gap, almost three days, but it feels a long time xD
I haven't posted because I was so worked up on creating a new template! So beware, this may be a very long post! Haha.
Before I tell you all about it, I have some random, off-topic news to share..

In the UK, or where I live, it has snowed. I mean A LOT of snow.. 10 inches in my garden! I thought I'd show you a little picture of what I mean:

Ok, so this is what my back garden looks like! I made a snowman with my friends, because we're cool like that. We used unwanted chocolates as the eyes.. LOL

Then we decided to go out and found this.. we HAD to take a photo!

I still can't stop laughing! It was so funny haha :'D

I kept my promise, my blog has been transformed into a Spring Frenzy.. xD I'm really impressed on the amount of votes.. 15, ok I'm allowed to feel popular! LOL.. Anyways, I'm still working on the sidebars but they'll be updated soon don't worry. If you have any suggestions on blog themes or something you'd like to see on my blog comment on this post.


Also, as you can see, I have a grey, unknown Chobot on my header.. that's because I have a new author.. however that will be discussed on another post. ;)

It's me again, Swifter! I'm almost certain this post will be long. So, let's get started!

New Email
Chobots is a community where everybody loves drawing. So, the Chobots Team have decided to create a whole new Email just for art. The email address is 'artwork@chobots.net'.

Isn't that just awesome? This Email should be used for artwork, videos, music and designs. You should receive a reply within 24 - 48 hours. Some cool exclusives for sending in your work are:

• Cool designs that could be created and put into the game and will be given to YOU for free 
• Awesome Graffiti that could inspire us to make art for our blog posts 
• Your original Chobots videos that could be posted onto the community 
• Create your very own music that could be remixed for the game 
• Other creations or unique ideas that could be made

So,  be sure to work your hardest!

TV Contest Winners

 Moving on to the winners of the St. Patricks Day contest. So, if you don't know what the St. Patricks Day contest is, I'll explain! For the contest, you were given a template. Which looks a little like this:

All you had to do with the template was decorate it, and submit your entry in the comments of the Official Blog post. Well, the contest is over, and I can officially announce the results! The winners are:

Swifter (Me)

I was really shocked when I discovered I had won. There were some amazing entries, and I don't know how I managed to compete against them. I wonder what the Chobots Team thought about my entry. They said:

"Swifter is our agent winner, that did a pretty good job on designing his entry. Swifter decided to go further than only editing the TV screen; he edited the whole template too! With his self-made green template, he wished everyone a happy St. Patrick's day. Amazing job!". Awh! Thank you, Chobots Team! 

Chalk

Chalk is a very talented user, here at Chobots. She has a big passion for drawing, and really expresses her emotions within each piece. I really like how the background seems to be blurred, to make the Chobot stand out! Fantastic job, Chalk!

Coliflower 

I really like Coliflower's unique entry. I liked the idea of making the Chobot fly out of the pot of gold on Nyan Cat. Absolutely fantastic! Great job.

Spring Party

Finally, I've been thinking; You guys may know me a little, but I would like to provide you with a 'Fun Fact' about myself.Did you know? I can limbo from just over 1 cm off the ground!

Doing the limbo is lot's of fun! You should try it. But, careful!!! Don't do anything silly.

Juicy Gossip #2

Ok, so today we left school an hour early because it was snowing! :D
Woo, I'm so happy xD But, I'm quite confused because it was snowing... In the middle of March?!

Story of My New Friend

Ok, so I've made a new friend called Vasa12345 on Chobots! She's really kind, sweet and funny. We have met before but I feel today we have communicated more and had bucket loads of fun! Haha. Click here to view her blog. Hmm, she's really random.. Like she'll message people saying that she's eating brownies and stuff like that.. LOL. P.S. I love brownies. 

I decided to copy her style in a different colour, because I was bored xD We look identical but the only difference was that I was wearing a peace shirt and she was wearing a Max shirt. Minutes later I get a gift from Chobots Team, it was a Max shirt, in the same colour I was wearing! LOL. The message said 'For being a good friend' Awh, I was soo touched :')

I don't know who gave me the shirt, but thank you! 

Movie Review

Getting a little off-topic right now but oh well xD A while ago, I watched the BEST MOVIE EVER. Like ever.. And I would like to tell you guys about it! 

It's called. The Hunger Games. The story is set in North America, now known as Panem and is composed of 12 districts that are controlled by the Capitol. Every year, one boy and one girl from each of the districts are randomly selected to compete in the Hunger Games, a televised battle to the death for the Capitol's amusement. When Katniss Everdeen's younger sister is chosen as one of District 12's representatives, she volunteers to be the tribute in her sister's place. Katniss is now part of a torturous game show and must kill or be killed. She must fight to victory against 23 unlucky candidates.

I would say the age of this move would be a 13, and possibly tweens. Only because there can be quite a bit of violence in it.

This movie can also be found as a book. It is the first book of the trilogy. Also, the second part is coming in November, can't wait!

Cool Outfits
Today I was looking out for some cool St Patrick's Day themed outfits to be featured on my blog. Perhaps it will give you an idea on how to dress for todays event.

LaurenMeow - I like how she has incorporated her green style with dragonfly wings. Also, the blue in the tutu also goes well with the wings. An amazing outfit, great job.

HummingBirdVani - I absolutely love her outfit. The way her shoes and hair colour match the brown shirt and paintbrush. The cute golden ascot also matches the tip of the brush.

Coliflower - I love how the rainbow magic just stands out. It brightens the entire mood of the outfit. Well put together, well done.

Funny Fact

The three users I chose all have 1 day away from having a whole numbered age! Haha.

The match begun and I realised my upgrades had expired!

The game carried on but my shots were all blocked!

So the game finally ended and I lost to a level 8...

Q1. How did you find out about Chobots.net?

I've played Chobots for years since .com and decided to search about It and found Chobots.net! I was overwhelmed!

Q2. What did you think about the new Chobots when you first joined?

I think it looked a lot better than Chobots.com and I was obviously happy! The new features were awesome! :D

Q3. How did you come up with your username?

My Mother Is always nagging me to wear a

wooly fleece jumper in the Winter so I just thought it was a unique username! ^_^

Q4. Does Chobots motivate you to reach your goals?
Yes! Very Much! Chobots helps me when I'm feeling down and I very much enjoy socialising and chatting with other people! I have goals I have set in Chobots and I still try and reach them! I never give up and I am determined.

Q5. Has Chobots inspired you in any way?
Chobots has inspired me to keep to my goals and never give up! :)
