Winter blog theme!

Hey guys and gals! Is it just me or is it getting a bit chillier in here? Oh, that's right- Winter is just around the corner! Have you guys noticed the new themes around the blog? Maya has spent some time working on making the blog a huge winter wonderland! Make sure you tell Maya how you think of what you think of her graphics, I totally think they're fresh! The first thing you'll probably notice is our new, breezy header:

Brrr! Make sure you wear something warm like our hats!

We also added a new cute message shown across the screen below the header to all of our welcoming readers that we are in our Winter Edition!

Lastly, we have updated our side tab button pictures, the 'scroller' image, and our banner! Make sure you always check out new things like $hop items and other cool things as well as grab our banner and advertise us (and follow us if you haven't yet, we are almost at one hundred!).

Are you feeling the season set in yet? We sure are and we can't wait for snow! Make sure you grab some coats and boots, we'll be searching for some stylish, bundled-up Chobots to post and show off! Many Updates!

Hiya Cho's!
It's been such a long time since we've seen you guys! Hopefully, as you've noticed, the blog has changed completely. You'll notice soon that the theme will change to winter, as it is just around the corner.

If you guys would like some recent updates that you might have not noticed, here's some important things to know:

• There are now 6 new agents- please welcome Agnesie, Yosheh, Bluewonder, Feryat, Emma, and Maya!
• Phil has been promoted to a Developer!
• The Market has been shut down because of the low rate of interest and usage in the system.
• We have our November Journalists- Elthomii, Vasa12345, Alert, Agnesie, Bebot, and Adventurous!
• We had our 2nd Halloween party together on Chobots!
• It's already been 2 years on Chobots- woop!
• The Nichos have returned, oh no! Keep an eye out, they're already capturing Chobots!

Chobots Movie Party Review

Hi, Chobots.
It's me, Swifter! You all know about the Chobots Movie Party that went on last night, right?
Well, it's over and I have to say... it was a blast! Sadly, I didn't manage to take any pictures, but I found some that our Agent Captain took. Here they are:

Neat pictures, Captain. 

Everyonewas dressed up as their favorite movie character. It was super awesome. I dressed up, also. Let's see if you can guess who I am....

At the party, there was a huge announcement. The amount of tension was unbelievable! I wonder what the announcement was...

That's right! Our agent Twinklefairyx has been promoted! She is now a part of the Chobots Moderation Department. Isn't that just fantastic? Twinkle has been with us for a very long time. She's always helping, caring, having fun & chatting. She truly deserves this, and has finally made it. Fantastic job, Twinkle.

Party and Fun!

Hey Chobots! Peace here. How are you all? Can you guess which Movie/TV character I am?

Yup, I'm the Wicked Witch of the West from one of my favorite movies, The Wizard of Oz. I'm preparing myself for a special party that's coming up. That's right, a Movie Party! Everyone is gonna dress up as their favorite character and what better place to hold a movie party than the Cinema! Music, magic and more will happen so I hope you can go! Here are the details:

Great Styles

Speaking of movie and TV character styles, I saw some very cool styles around Chobots today!

• Illusiion: I like the way he used the complimentary colors blue and orange and incorporated the cool jetpack!
• Chalk: I really love her outfit, the shade of pink is cute and the wings add an angelic look!
• Perfectlexie: I like how all of her red items really pop out, nice style!

Great outfits everyone, I'm always looking for stylish Chos.

This happens to me all the time! That awkward moment when you receive a message and you click on the green button instead. 

Cool Chobots Art!

Wandering around the forum I noticed some nice art our users have drawn for us!

Look at this wonderful drawing by Vasa12345, it's such a beautiful landscape. Good Job!

Another cool drawing by Ilusiion has a nice 3D effect to it, like the heart is popping out! Great effects!

Fashion Favourites!

Hey guys! New items are out in the shop.. do you know what this means? Cool, new outfits to explore and create!

As you can see, there are a variety of clothing to choose from. I love how when there are new clothing, everywhere I look Chobots are showing off cool new outfits they've created.

Okay, instead of going through the prices of each individual item, I'm going to pick a few favourites.

Let's call it.. 'Fashion Favourites' eh?;)

Neptune Tail - 3500 bugs.

This is a very unique item. You can dress as the famous Greek God Neptune or perhaps dress as a mermaid.

Tennis Racket Hoverboard - 10,000 bugs.

For all you sporty Chos out there, here is an item you will love! This hoverboard will bring out your inner sportiness, it will also improve your speed on Cho.

Sun Flag - 50,000 bugs.

It may seem a bit pricey, however this flag has such a welcoming design printed onto it. It will add a happy personality to your outfit. 

 

Here are some characters I created with a few of these new items.

Hmm, let's call this.. Character Craze!

Katniss Everdeen - Are you a big fan of The Hunger Games? Then this is the perfect style for you! The cute braid looks identical to Katniss' signature look. The arrow is just an addition to the character making her seem more realistic.

Scientist with '$wag' - This is a random outfit I made with the potion hand item. It goes perfectly well with the ChoProff outfit and the super cute Samantha hair just adds a bit of swag xD

The Little Mermaid - This character is from a well-known, and loved book and movie by Disney. It's Ariel from The Little Mermaid! The flowers in her red hair looks cute, along with the chunky bracelets. The purple eyeshadow works well with the outfit making her look like a true princess!

Sheridan and I chillin' in Cafe St.

After the Agents' Meeting, Cafe St. was jam-packed with Chobots! We were all having fun, dancing and chatting away!

That reminds me! We have an addition to the Agency Team.. Vasa12345, a well-known and loved player who is an active player in-game, on the forums and a great journalist.

What else can I say? Vasa is a perfect addition to the team, good job gurl!

Movie Review - Despicable Me

Hey guys, since it's Easter Holidays, I've been really busy this week going to meet friends and family. Yesterday, I went to my cousin's house and we all sat and watched Despicable Me! It's such an amazing movie and I wanted to review it for you guys!

So this is a great movie to watch with family. It's funny, creative and suitable for all ages! The movie is about a man who is a criminal mastermind, adopting three girls to be part of his evil scheme.
He has millions of cute, yellow minions who work in a lair for him. As the days pass, he grows to love and care for them which change him as a person for the better.
I would definitely recommend this movie to all you Chobots out there!

Baking/Craft Contest Winners

Hello Guys, a few weeks back we had a baking or a craft contest and the winners have been picked and announced  I am pretty sure it must have been very tough for the staff to choose the winners, however they have picked 4 winning entries!

This cake looks and probably tasted delicious. I like how Twinkle used a refreshing green color for the grass and then added mini eggs in the corners.

This must have taken a long time to create! Even the background has been painted by Kelly! I love the Easter eggs surrounding the Chobot. Looks super cute!

Palm Painting Contest!

Hey guys, Program here! Curiosity decided to set up the first contest for April, a Palm Painting Contest! Make sure you guys don't cheat though, or you will be disqualified and possibly banned! If you see a user cheating, please email support@chobots.net with proof, so it can be taken care of! The three Chobots with the highest scores at the end of the contest will receive prizes.

You all have until Thursday, April 4th to make the Chobots world more colorful!

Quick reminder though, you can NOT use the red ball and blue ball at the cafe street, they are easy to hit and will be considered as cheating. So make sure that doesn't happen!

Chobots Fun!

Hey friends! I hope you got a lot of pranks in on April Fool's Day and also enjoyed your weekend! I know I did. I did a lot of shopping for my upcoming prom dance and it was so much fun!
Speaking of fun, I've been wandering around the Chobots city and community and noticed some very cool and fun things to share!

Artwork
Browsing around the Forum, I saw some really amazing pieces of artwork by some great artists!

This is a cool Anime drawing by a well known artists on Chobots, Kelly123. I love the butterflies and the facial expression details on the girl.

This drawing by Anchor, was done on our very own Citizen's Underground. I thought the style was unique and cute!

I'm always impressed by EgotisticalSlug. This is one of her knew painting techniques and the shading is beautiful!

Great job guys.

Cool Styles
Hanging around Cafe St., I noticed some very stylish Chobots that stood out to me!

      

• Comebackiid looks really cool with his modern music style. It matches very well.
• I really like Neat has an all white style! It makes her look angelic.
• I love how Tammii incorporated the Spring season into her style, matching the ladybug.

Great styles guys, well done!

Cool Styles

I found a cool and cute trend in Cafe St. today! It was based on TV and Movie Characters.

I chose a user called Neat as she had some sweet outfits inspired by famous characters.

    

Look at how much effort was put into these outfits. I love her Marge outfit as I am a big fan of The Simpsons, I think I've watched one episode of Johnny Bravo, and her outfit looks exactly like him!

Well done Neat, truly amazing outfits.

Saturday Fun and News!

Hey guys, sorry for the long posting gap, almost three days, but it feels a long time xD
I haven't posted because I was so worked up on creating a new template! So beware, this may be a very long post! Haha.
Before I tell you all about it, I have some random, off-topic news to share..

In the UK, or where I live, it has snowed. I mean A LOT of snow.. 10 inches in my garden! I thought I'd show you a little picture of what I mean:

Ok, so this is what my back garden looks like! I made a snowman with my friends, because we're cool like that. We used unwanted chocolates as the eyes.. LOL

Then we decided to go out and found this.. we HAD to take a photo!

I still can't stop laughing! It was so funny haha :'D

I kept my promise, my blog has been transformed into a Spring Frenzy.. xD I'm really impressed on the amount of votes.. 15, ok I'm allowed to feel popular! LOL.. Anyways, I'm still working on the sidebars but they'll be updated soon don't worry. If you have any suggestions on blog themes or something you'd like to see on my blog comment on this post.


Also, as you can see, I have a grey, unknown Chobot on my header.. that's because I have a new author.. however that will be discussed on another post. ;)
