Hi Everyone! Newy82 here. I've recently been selected as a new author on this wonderful blog. I'm glad Twinklefairyx gave me the opportunity to work on here.

I began playing Chobots [.com] around early 2009. I've been an agent on Chobots.com and Chobots.in too. On February 10, 2013 I was honored with an agent badge on Chobots.net as well after winning the agents poll.

Random Facts about Me

• I've blogged on over 150 blogs. Blogging has to be my favorite thing. I also love to design blog templates, graphics and headers.
• My favorite colors are Yellow and Blue.
• I love Soccer immensely.

Sweet Battle Contest

There is a new contest happening full of sweets and candy. Yes, you guessed it right... it's sweet battle. You have time to battle out till Friday, the 13th of March. Also, if you find someone cheating, take a picture and send it to the support email i.e support@chobots.net. Good Luck!

New Poll

Also, a new poll has been posted on the Official Blog. 'Should old citizenship items come to the $hop?'. In my opinion, it would be a good idea to bring back the old citizenship items.

Game Updates
Recently there was a poll on the forum to whether the old login page should be back.
Well, I guess that there were more votes for it to be back so it has been restored!
In my opinion, the animated homepage however many Chobots seem to like the new homepage.

I think the new login/old login screen is is awesome, it really brings back old memories of .com - iTunez

 I think that the new login is kind of old, and I don't particulaly like it. I think it would be better if there were .net logins or especially NEW ones! - Smiley

I think the login updates are great! It's starting to look like .com on the home page. - Wolfyy

New Agents

Ok, recently our Agents' Team list has been very short and we needed some new Agents!
For this reason, the team took their time to pick an extra two agents for Chobots.
I would like to congratulate FlapieFeet and PerfectLexie as you two are our new agents!

Game Night Review
Game Night was a blast! It brought the Chobots Community together and we all had a great time. There was competition in every game, however only the person in 1st place could win the prize!
However, before I reveal the winners of each game, here are some quotes from Chobots about yesterdays game night;

March Journalists

Next up is this months journalists! Anyone can enter their blog as long as it's over a month old, they post regularly and they don't copy and paste posts from the Main Blog.

If you think you have what it takes to become a journalist, sign up your blog on the blog post.

All you have to do is comment your blog URL on the post. Simples.

Twinkle's Advice #3
Have you been applying for journalist for these past 2 months and not been successful? If so, then carry on reading! You are in the same boat as me because my blog has also been turned down twice. So, I will give you some tips on how you an do better.

First of all, it is pointless to give your blog in again if you haven't made any changes to it, because that's what the judges are looking out for; whether you have improved. If you don't know how you can improve, simply check out the current journalists to have an idea of what elements might have caught the judges eye.

Perhaps adding more pages or changing the layout of your posts will be a good idea. The main key is to make your blog original. For example, to keep my blog unique, I changed my blog name to 'ChoGossip'. Because I felt a cool, fresh blog name will make my blog sound interesting before someone has actually viewed it.

Agents Meeting
All you agents out there.. this is a message for you! There will be an Agents Meeting on Saturday, 16th March. You are not obliged to come, however those who come will be awarded with a special prize!
We will talk about all sorts x]

Saturday Fun and Games!

Howdy, Chobots!
It's me again, Swifter! Today, I'm here with yet more fantastic news.

Game Night
You all know 'Game Night', right?

Well, it will be taking place again on Saturday, March the 9th at 11PM Cho-Time! If you don't know what Game Night is, it's when all the games on Chobots are open to play as contests! There's only 1 winner per contest. So, you have to reach first place and stay there!

If you'd like to know how long we have left, keep your eyes on the timer below!

Careful - Moderators and Agents are always keeping a close eye out for cheaters. Anybody caught cheating will face disqualification.

Helpful tip
If you have already won a game in game night, make sure you play a different game this time! Because in order to qualify for 1st place, you must: Play fairly, and have not won in that specific game in previous game nights.

Juicy Gossip - Contests and Heroes

Hey everyone! It's my first official post!
So, recently there has been a contest and garbage collector heroes! If you carry on reading, I will explain each of these topics in more detail.

CMV Contest
There is a new contest on the main blog. The theme is CMV!

What is a CMV?
CMV is a Chobots Music Video. It is where you choose a song and record your Chobot reciting each verse of the song. You can have friends helping you by dancing along or singing with you.

To enter this contest, you have to create a Chobots Music Video, the song choice is entirely up to you, as long as it is relevant. You must then comment your video URL on the blog post.

A winning entry should have/be:

You have until Sunday, 10th of March, to submit your video. The winners will be awarded with some cool prizes! Good luck to everyone.

Garbage Heroes
Chobots is nice and tidy, thanks to three amazing Chobots. They earned themselves 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of the Garbage Collector Contest.

That's right! Congratulations: Ryan6872, TheUFO and Pigscanfly for being the top three in our contest! That smelly smell in the Garbage Collector is gone and Chobots can finally breathe in the sweet air. x]
