Many Updates!

Hiya Cho's!
It's been such a long time since we've seen you guys! Hopefully, as you've noticed, the blog has changed completely. You'll notice soon that the theme will change to winter, as it is just around the corner.

If you guys would like some recent updates that you might have not noticed, here's some important things to know:

• There are now 6 new agents- please welcome Agnesie, Yosheh, Bluewonder, Feryat, Emma, and Maya!
• Phil has been promoted to a Developer!
• The Market has been shut down because of the low rate of interest and usage in the system.
• We have our November Journalists- Elthomii, Vasa12345, Alert, Agnesie, Bebot, and Adventurous!
• We had our 2nd Halloween party together on Chobots!
• It's already been 2 years on Chobots- woop!
• The Nichos have returned, oh no! Keep an eye out, they're already capturing Chobots!

Minor Updates!

Hey Chobots,

Around Chobots there has been some great updates for the Chobot world. The updates look amazing, and you will first begin to see the updates as you login! Notice that the server color bars have been changed to a nice looking blue.

Now, if you head on over to Cafe Street you will see that all of the Earth Day decorations have been removed.

And finally when you go into your wardrobe and hover over an item, you'll see it's name! This is a really neat update because if you are looking up a certain item in the market simply hover over it and it will give you the name!

When you log onto Chobots you will get a message asking you to change your passwords. This is for security purposes and making sure that everyone's account is safe.

Also, the bodies button has been updated to the "Premium Items" button! This button looks a lot more sleek and I just prefer way more over the old one. 

What do you guys think of these minor updates? I really like them, especially the "Change Your Password" message because if there's something going wrong on Chobots, they want to make sure everyone is safe and secure. Leave a comment saying what you like the most in these updates!

Weekend of Epic Updates!

Hello guys,
Chobots Team have worked very hard and have introduced a new feature to the game. This is called the market! This is a place where you can sell in-game items to other Chos by auctioning them and bidding on other users items.

How to sell an item?
To the bottom left of your wardrobe, there should be a blue bin. This is where you send your items to sell, you simply drag an item you will be auctioning into the bin.

Then a new tab will appear on your browser, this is the listings page and you will be asked to choose a starting bid, how long the auction should last and then you click 'Create my Auction

It should redirect you to the market homepage and there you have it, your auction is up and ready!
Warning:  When you have listed an item into the market, you cannot access the item in-game.

To view your auction, you click the 'My Auctions' button on the market homepage and a page should appear of your current items on auction and your bidding history.

How do I bid on an item?
To bid on an item, you first need to add bugs into your market account. To do this, you need to click the 'Manage Funds' button located on the bottom of the market page. This will give you the choice to add bugs to your market account, or add bugs back to your chobot account.

After your account has enough bugs for an item you've viewed, you are ready to bid on it! To bid on an item you need to hover over the items tag and a green button which says 'BID' will appear, simply click on it and it will take you to the items auction page.

 

Now you need to bid higher than the current amount and you are the new bidding leader for the item.

What happens when I win an item?
The seller will be notified when their auction is over and will be asked whether they want to sell the item to you. After they have confirmed, the transaction is completed; you will receive the item and they will receive the bugs. If they choose to decline the transaction, they will receive a 5000 bugs fee and you will get back 110% of your winning bid.

Tip: If you want people to bid on your items, be generous on the starting price. You will soon find that multiple users will want your item and raise the bid up high. For example, pricing choproff glasses as 99,999 is pointless because they are free items.

Since this is a new feature, there is bound to be bugs in it. If you have found one simply click the Feedback/Bugs button located at the bottom of the market page and tell us!

Fashion Party!
Have you all enjoyed fashion week? Well, to finish off this spectacular week, we've decided to host a giant fashion show for all you Chobots!

The party will take place on Sunday, April 28 at 21:00 Cho Time. We will be having our fashion show at the Disco Lounge.
