I am eggs, and I am a new author on this amazing blog! YAY! SO EXCITED!
So I am a 12 year old girl from Australia and an agent, mini mod/forum legend and citizen! Woo woo.
So, on to the post, yesterday was the Earth Day party!
Before I share with you some photos, I would like to share some reviews by the users:
"Its was absolutely epic. The disscussion got everyone interested, the games were fun and the rain was rare and awesome. It evenn rained my favourite item, the paperbag hat!" -iTunez
"The party was great fun! Jake hosted a game (Guess The Item), and we then had to think of an item he was thinking of. We all had a fantastic time! The party lasted about an hour, and within that time, we had done so many cool things. There was rain, magic, and awesome masks!" -Smiley
That was one of the coolest parties I have ever been to. It was really fun, a lot of music and games worth prizes. I also loved the colour scheme which was green -Godlight
I'm really glad you likes the party guys, so did I!
Here are some photos I took!
Looked like fun huh?
So if you want to know a bit about the party read on:
Everyone crowded in the eco shop a few minutes before and then we talked about how we should treat the environment, what we think earth day is and how our personal experiences with the environment (at our schools and stuff) And then we decided to....PARTY! It rained shirts, peacock boards and more! :D
I had an awesome time, comment your favorite rained item!
Hey guys! Proggy here with some gossip and updates! First of all, I'd like to tell you that we have two new authors for the ChoGossip Team! Congratulations, Eggs and Captain as you two are our authors. Stay tuned as Twinkle might be needing some more authors soon.
Going green!
Have you noticed anything different about the cafe street? That's right, the Chobots Team has made the cafe street atmosphere green! Why? Well, this week, it's Earth Day! Don't forget to recycle and reuse things :)
I love how there are lots of trees and daisies scattered everywhere. Also, the billboard has change and it looks epic!
Earth Day Party
Earth day is today and to celebrate, Chobots are having a party! Earth Day is a day to raise awareness of the environment, you may learn about it at school. We would love it if you could join us.
Our theme is animal masks, so be sure to come dressed in an animal of some sort!
New wings!
Have you noticed any new items? Well, one of Nightmare's designsgot added to our game! They will most likely be put in the $hop later as they can fly and are super awesome so look out for these awesome wings, you wouldn't wanna miss out!
Nightmare rocking out his new wings! I love his style!
Mini Quiz Night
Yesterday Koiz, Twinkle and James hosted a mini quiz. It then followed on to a mini party with music, magic and some rain! We had bucket loads of fun and I thought I'd share some pictures with you!
Hi, Chobots.
It's me, Swifter! You all know about the Chobots Movie Party that went on last night, right?
Well, it's over and I have to say... it was a blast! Sadly, I didn't manage to take any pictures, but I found some that our Agent Captain took. Here they are:
Neat pictures, Captain.
Everyonewas dressed up as their favorite movie character. It was super awesome. I dressed up, also. Let's see if you can guess who I am....
At the party, there was a huge announcement. The amount of tension was unbelievable! I wonder what the announcement was...
That's right! Our agent Twinklefairyx has been promoted! She is now a part of the Chobots Moderation Department. Isn't that just fantastic? Twinkle has been with us for a very long time. She's always helping, caring, having fun & chatting. She truly deserves this, and has finally made it. Fantastic job, Twinkle.
Hey Chobots! Peace here. How are you all? Can you guess which Movie/TV character I am?
Yup, I'm the Wicked Witch of the West from one of my favorite movies, The Wizard of Oz. I'm preparing myself for a special party that's coming up. That's right, a Movie Party! Everyone is gonna dress up as their favorite character and what better place to hold a movie party than the Cinema! Music, magic and more will happen so I hope you can go! Here are the details:
Update: Movie Party will be hosted in Server Milkyway due to city name changes.
Great Styles
Speaking of movie and TV character styles, I saw some very cool styles around Chobots today!
Illusiion: I like the way he used the complimentary colors blue and orange and incorporated the cool jetpack!
Chalk: I really love her outfit, the shade of pink is cute and the wings add an angelic look!
Perfectlexie: I like how all of her red items really pop out, nice style!
Great outfits everyone, I'm always looking for stylish Chos.
Awkward Choment of the Week
This happens to me all the time! That awkward moment when you receive a message and you click on the green button instead.
Cool Chobots Art!
Wandering around the forum I noticed some nice art our users have drawn for us!
Look at this wonderful drawing by Vasa12345, it's such a beautiful landscape. Good Job!
Another cool drawing by Ilusiion has a nice 3D effect to it, like the heart is popping out! Great effects!
Okay that's all for now, I hope you can make it to the party!
Hey guys!
How's it going? I have so much to tell you guys, so keep reading this post! Chobots Updates
There's a new spring theme in Chobots and it looks really cool!
I really like the look of Cafe St now; it looks lively and full of life xD
Although it is not in the picture, there is a new Easter advert on the billboard.. you should check it out!
This room is very green with plants surrounding it! The Chopix statue is bright green too, haha.
Ok, so I don't know if it's just me or if it's been there the whole time but..
There's a weird badge like triangle on Chopix's shoulder.. I know it's not a big deal but still!
Also, if you zoom in on him when you're at the park you'll see that it glows.
Party Time!
March is almost over and April is coming. On the very first day of April, there is an event that everyone enjoys! Have you guessed it? April Fools Day! Of course, how can Chobots not have a party on this spectacular day? Here are the party details!
So what are you waiting for? Purchase funny, wacky, cool outfits at the shop!
Hope to see you there!
Minor Updates
The banner at the top of the Chobots page has changed slightly. (The banner which advertises a Journalists blog). Yeah, well now it gives each Journalist a chance to have their blog featured on the website because a new Journalists blog will show up each time you refresh the page!
Also, I'm a junior! My citizenship expired a few hours ago. I guess I'll have to work extra hard when it comes to contests!
Furthermore, the cool party hat is now available to be purchased at the store! Purchase it in time for the April Fools Party!
75 Followers Contest
Due to many requests on creating templates for Chos, I have decided to host a contest once I reach 75 followers. The prize will be a blog template, this includes: A header, banner, moving banner, sidebars, buttons and so much more! So practically a blog makeover..
So, if you're interested in this contest, get sharing and following my blog!
Thank you for reading my post,
I haven't decided on what sort of contest I will host yet so comment what sort of contest it should be!
Hi, Chobots!
It's a very busy time of the month, do you know why?
Easter is coming! It's time for chocolate eggs, easter bunnies, treasure hunts and new life!
Easter Party
An Easter party hasn't been officially approved at the moment, or in other words, posted on the main blog. However, it has said a party will be coming on our March Events page.
Let's hope that the Chobots Team have enough time on their hands to host one!
Easter Contest
You all know that Easter is coming up, right? Well, the Chobots Team have planned and created an awesome new contest for everyone to take part in!
"Well, what's the contest?" For the contest, you either have to bake or craft something Easter & Chobots-related.
You're probably thinking what sort of things you could do.
You could bake a Chobots cake for your entry.
You could also draw a really nice picture for your entry!
You could even build something, perhaps a cool card or some woodwork?
Be sure to be as creative as you can because the winners will be awarded with some fantastic prizes.
Remember, it must be both related to Easter and Chobots.
You have until Saturday, March 30th to submit your entries. You can submit them here!
Awkward Choment of the Week
That Awkward Choment when you attempt to click another player, but end up clicking another room. Knowing that you've clicked another room, you try to click another spot to avoid the accidental room change, but end up clicking a random player. The result in this is you walking into a room with some random users playercard! I made a little video to show you what I mean.
Isn't that just plain awkward?
Well, thanks a lot for reading today's post! Be sure to comment your awkward choment!
Hello, Chobots!
It's me again, Swifter! I'm almost certain this post will be long. So, let's get started!
New Email
Chobots is a community where everybody loves drawing. So, the Chobots Team have decided to create a whole new Email just for art. The email address is 'artwork@chobots.net'.
Isn't that just awesome? This Email should be used for artwork, videos, music and designs. You should receive a reply within 24 - 48 hours. Some cool exclusives for sending in your work are:
Cool designs that could be created and put into the game and will be given to YOU for free
Awesome Graffiti that could inspire us to make art for our blog posts
Your original Chobots videos that could be posted onto the community
Create your very own music that could be remixed for the game
Other creations or unique ideas that could be made
So, be sure to work your hardest!
TV Contest Winners
Moving on to the winners of the St. Patricks Day contest. So, if you don't know what the St. Patricks Day contest is, I'll explain! For the contest, you were given a template. Which looks a little like this:
All you had to do with the template was decorate it, and submit your entry in the comments of the Official Blog post. Well, the contest is over, and I can officially announce the results! The winners are:
Swifter (Me)
I was really shocked when I discovered I had won. There were some amazing entries, and I don't know how I managed to compete against them. I wonder what the Chobots Team thought about my entry. They said:
"Swifter is our agent winner, that did a pretty good job on designing his entry. Swifter decided to go further than only editing the TV screen; he edited the whole template too! With his self-made green template, he wished everyone a happy St. Patrick's day. Amazing job!". Awh! Thank you, Chobots Team!
Chalk
Chalk is a very talented user, here at Chobots. She has a big passion for drawing, and really expresses her emotions within each piece. I really like how the background seems to be blurred, to make the Chobot stand out! Fantastic job, Chalk!
Coliflower
I really like Coliflower's unique entry. I liked the idea of making the Chobot fly out of the pot of gold on Nyan Cat. Absolutely fantastic! Great job.
All the entries were amazing. So, if you didn't win, not to worry! I loved everybody's entry! Great job, everyone. However, if you did win, you received:
T.V remote controller
7 days of Citizenship
7,000 bugs
Spring Party
Tonight at 08:30PM Cho-Time we will be celebrating Spring in a party. At the party there will be heaps of magic, rain and music! You can find us at the Park. I really do hope you can attend, it'll be lot's of fun!
Art Work
Let's move on to some artwork created by the players of Chobots that I discovered when wondering around within the Chobots Community!
This first drawing was created by Squilloise. Take a peak!
Fantastic, isn't it? I really like this piece! What do you think? Our next drawing was created by Vasa12345. Check it out!
That's just wonderful, don't you think? I agree 100% with the comment! How about you?
Fun Fact
Finally, I've been thinking; You guys may know me a little, but I would like to provide you with a 'Fun Fact' about myself.Did you know? I can limbo from just over 1 cm off the ground!
If you don't know what limbo is, here's a little image:
There is also a really catchy song that is played while you limbo. You can check that out below!
Doing the limbo is lot's of fun! You should try it. But, careful!!! Don't do anything silly.
Thanks a lot for reading my post.
